Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and safeguard the information shared with us by clients, principals, and visitors.

§ 01

Overview

Septimius Security Services L.L.C. is committed to protecting the privacy of clients, principals, and visitors to this website. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the safeguards we apply. We process information in accordance with applicable UAE data protection law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

§ 02

Information We Collect

Depending on how you engage with us, we may collect:

  • Contact details (name, role, company, phone number, email)
  • Briefing information you provide when requesting a quote or shortlist (country of operation, dates, posture preference, threat indicators)
  • Principal and engagement details required to plan and deliver protective services
  • Billing details for invoicing and reconciliation
  • Technical data from our website (IP address, browser, pages viewed) collected via standard analytics
§ 03

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and prepare officer shortlists and engagement quotes
  • Plan, mobilise, and deliver protective services
  • Maintain operational records, after-action reports, and compliance documentation
  • Issue invoices and process payments
  • Communicate with the contracting party about active and prospective engagements
  • Meet our obligations under SIRA licensing, ICoCA certification, ISO 18788 / ISO 9001 standards, and applicable law
§ 04

Confidentiality of Principal Information

Information identifying the principal, their family, residences, movements, or threat profile is treated as strictly confidential. Access is limited to the smallest possible number of vetted personnel directly involved in the engagement. Officers and support staff are bound by individual non-disclosure agreements. Operational photography is not published and testimonials are not requested without written consent from the contracting party.

§ 05

Disclosure to Third Parties

We may share information with:

  • Vetted subcontractors, drivers, or partner operators required to deliver an engagement, under equivalent confidentiality obligations
  • Our insurers, auditors, and legal advisors where necessary and under duties of confidentiality
  • Regulatory and law-enforcement authorities where required by law or in response to a lawful request
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or restructuring of our business
§ 06

International Transfers

Septimius operates across multiple jurisdictions. Where delivering an engagement requires personal information to be transferred outside the UAE (for example, to a partner operator in the host country), we apply contractual safeguards and limit the transfer to what is strictly necessary for the engagement.

§ 07

Data Retention

Operational records are retained for the period required by SIRA licensing, ICoCA standards, ISO 18788 documentation requirements, and applicable UAE law. After-action reports and engagement files are retained for a minimum of six years from the close of the engagement. Marketing-list contact data is retained until you ask to be removed.

§ 08

Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold. Access is role-based and logged; sensitive files are encrypted at rest and in transit; vetting is in place for all personnel with access to client data. We do not store credit card data on our systems; payments are processed via regulated UAE banking channels.

§ 09
